I want to let you know how impressed I was with the service that I received from one of your representatives. We are new customers and were having a problem with a newly installed gas range. We were able to set an appointment for a service visit for the next day, which was perfect for our schedule. The service rep arrived on time and carefully questioned me about the problem and reviewed the conversion work that had been done on the stove by another company. In a short time, he was able to find the problem and correct it. He was very helpful and friendly and set our minds at ease. This was all done just a few days before Christmas; having the stove working right for the holidays made it possible for us to keep our plans to serve a meal for a crowd with no worries! I have been a customer of Country Propane for over 15 years and have always been happy with your service. I’ve had several tune-ups on my furnace, and a gas stove, gas dryer, and new hot water heater were installed by your technicians. I’ve always been very satisfied with your work and have never felt like I was overcharged. Now the rest of my story!! In November 2011, I called Country Propane and asked if I could have a technician come to my house because I couldn’t get my furnace blower to shut off. When they came into my basement they said that they smelled gas, which I could not smell even after they made me aware of it. They used a gas detector to confirm the gas presence in the basement. The technician’s Steve & Joe found the leak in less than 10 minutes. The leak was on the connection to my hot water tank. I had removed some shelves by the tank three days earlier and must have punctured the flexible tube going from the main pipe to the tank. they soaped the leak and showed me the gas leak coming out of the tube. They shut off the gas and fixed my problem. The technician told me it was the worst gas leak he has ever encountered. These two men saved my house and possibly our lives. I say THANK YOU to both of these men and Country Propane.
